The world of Emma Hawkins as it appears in the March issue of British Vogue. Pure fire and music.
A cabinet of curiosities.
In her studio surrounded by her extraordinarily fine examples of natural history. The giraffe's head is from her childhood bedroom.
Vignettes of her Scottish idyll.
The entrance hall with its polished Caithness stone floor.

I went to her studio in Edinburgh. I wonder if it's the same one? An extraordinary collection indeed.
This is their country house - the Atoll Crescent house was the one that appeared in Tatler.
I am going to have to find this issue. I am sure that the article tugged at your heartstrings.
PD - yeah. I was positively tickled green.
The house is wonderful - but I always seem to be delighted by Upton's work as well; I've noticed that he is often the photographer on my favorite features.
Yes, Atholl Crescent. I think she must have married a different "John". Does it give his surname. She was previously dating a friend, but the (newly added) photo of her husband isn't of him...!
C- Dodd.
Oh well, yes, that's him then. Looks a bit different!
