(total) - Condition: overall good, no damage or restorations observed, glaze flakes to rim of base - Provenance: the Doris Duke Foundation. Estimate: 300-500

Some of the estimates seem very reasonable.

Doris Duke = train wreck, but with money=nice things
Ok, so I've made a bidding wishlist too from the Duke auction. Spent hours picking amongst the lots to net a very agreeable trawl, I think. I like the way Aesthete's Lament has summed up the way Duke ricocheted around decorative styles.
R - just hope it doesn't become a bun fight. It would nice to pick up a little something.
