DEAR HOBAC--
This is superb--and was photographed in the arcade of the Palais Royal...one of my pilgrimage places in Paris...I walk along the arcades every day. Now, of course, the art and antique postcard sellers are gone, and Rick Owens and Marc Jacobs are there, and Stella McCartney...but my plan is always to look at the beauty, the timeless architecture and the endless grace (and I never see Pierre Hardy's shoes or Rick Owens' astronomically priced little tippets of fur)...
And just look at that cape of Piaggi...not doubt antique, like her books...do you think Karl styled her?
