Imagine sailing across the Atlantic--dressing to the Nines--and arriving in salons with these glorious walls.
The decor of that time has been so influential--on today's designers. Not the opulent walls, but rather the furniture and concepts. Love the romance of it all.

Images like this make me want to book a crossing. The fact that they depict things in museums suggests that I will find little aboard today to equal them.
