Granny takes a trip

If she hasn't, she should. When using lots of antiques, especially those of the brown variety, one runs the risk of things getting a little fusty and dry. Better to liven things up with a good dose of colour, pattern and texture.

Citine, glazed, of course, with dragged trim. You know how to turn a blogger on!

Beautifully pulled together.

Would love to see a room sketch incorporating these pieces and fabric picks. How about a quick description of optimal imaginary house/location in which they would reside? If I squint I can sort of see it...but clearly your aesthetic vision is true.

that little Regency rosewood, simulated rosewood and parcel gilt dwarf open serpentine bookcase would brighten things up very nicely-indeed. I Love your color palette- Citrine-is in the ether right now, It is very much a fav. stone of mine. I've used that outdoor DE trellis pattern on kitchen chairs. So pretty. Love love it all. G la
