You always have the prettiest blossoms! And I love the little man peeking from underneath.
There is something so beautiful about a fading flower dropping its petals....i'm always so sad on the day I have to give up on it, sweep up the petals and deposit it all in the trash.
Dahlias truly are the perfect flower. Like a zinnia as redesigned by Christian Dior, don't you think?
Beautiful! We had them in our garden this year for the first time. Who would have thought my husband would decide to put in a cutting garden for me. Makes me smile just thinking of it. Alas, I puppy seems to love Dahlias too. They are all quite gone.
