Guess who I saw today.
Judge Judith Sheindlin
Yes, Judge Judith Sheindlin was doing the Portobello Road. And, all I can say is Miss Denuve could do with taking a leaf out of her book. Her Honor was very soigné indeed. How bizarre is that?

I think that, deep down, Judge Judy is a nice older Jewish lady from New York who would die before she left the house without lipstick and jewelry. I LOVE women like her. They're really overlooked in terms of fashion "icons," because I think New Yorkers take them for granted.
mamacita - you are absolutetly right. She was very NY - all in black and perfectly groomed.
Ah, one more example of how the world's gone topsy turvy.
I am so jealous. I love Judge Judy. I never admit outside of close family that I record her show everyday, and have for the last 5+ years.
She always reprimands slovenly trash who show up in tank tops and sandals to her courtroom. Some she sends away to find a coat...while on the air and in front of 10 million people. So delightful. She is always well put together. As she should be, since by now she has more money than God.
cupcake — so you should be! I was really surprised, but she had that old style magic stars used to have. She is tiny, but full of confidence and verve. I was shocked that I was more captivated by her than I was by CD ( the woman who symbolised France, for me at least). And, unlike you, I almost never watch her show.
Well, I have seen CD in person once in SF and she is beautiful but I love Judge J. She is one classy lady!
