The Tales of Hoffmann (1952), the film adaptation of the Jacques Offenbach opera Les contes d'Hoffmann. A Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger production, though not as seemingly well known as The Red Shoes. Starring Moira Shearer, Robert Helpmann and Léonide Massine, and features Robert Rounseville, Pamela Brown, Ludmilla Tchérina and Anne Ayars.
