did you see my blog with the picture of the giant turtle shell in Bunny Williams beach house? Until I saw that picture I didn't realize how much I wanted one - and now your pictures! did you get them both? lucky you! for your you know what????
CdT - `Indeed I did. That's what made me post these.
Ahaha, no they are not coming up until August.
They're fantastic! Cheers ; )
If you buy them you can store them in my apt until you can pick them up ;) I'm within easy carrying distance of N.O.Auction....
Quarter Rat - Cute )
Fabulous, with or without the John Roselli/Bunny Williams frame of reference.
Also~there's a new banner at the top of your page. Very nice.
Wow! These are just amazing. SOOOO beautiful. It's always amazing what nature has to offer us in design.
I would like to throw my name into the ring against "the quarter rat". I live fairly close to N'Awlins, am a fine driver (so no risk to the shells while I drive home), and I'm fairly handy with a dust wipe. Of course they may accidentally "disappear" right when you need them sent to you but that is neither here nor there. :)
They are SO amazing! I hate you HOBAC!
A high school chum of mine had a beautiful specimen. His father worked for the Smithsonian as a Marine Biologist and the family had a house on Barbados... and so had ample opportunity to come across one. It may have been an antique, I didn't think to ask. I could stare at it for hours.
