Saw the documentary a few weeks ago. It was brilliant.
Utterly candid without a trace of vulgarity. You come away from that film fairly shaken up in the best possible way. The subtitle might well have been Vissi D'arte, vissi d'amore" as it was about two men whose lives were focussed on art and on love and in a manner that was anything but conventional. An extraordinary film about extraordinary people.

TB - am really looking forward to seeing this. Hope it doesn't take too long to open here.

When the film does open, do catch it while you can.\
It lasted one week at the art cinema in my town and audience attendance was minimal. It may have something to do with the generic title of the film. Shame really, because it ought to be seen by a younger generation for whom the idea of male partners is not the daring concept it was in the 1950s.
Chris and Don were brave souls, considering the period.
