Ballet Mecanique (1924) Fernand Leger - Part 1

What will serve as inspiration in the coming year? Will there be a definitive novel, exhibition, or happening that will ignite our collective creative consciousness? Look to the obscure and, or, the forgotten.

"I like fashion to go down to the street, but I can't accept that it should originate there."

Thank you so much for posting this. It is a period in art that I am very interested in, and I would not have found this piece it it weren't for you.

Every generation thinks it is the first to undergo rapid technological change; I relish pieces like this that reveal the anxieties and obsessions of earlier generations.

mamacita - 'tis I who should be thanking you. I was afraid it would go unnoticed. I am pleased you enjoyed it.

Between the wars, my obsession.

And as for you HOBAC, I think that you and a few of your fellow bloggers will serve as inspiration this coming year for many of us. Thanks for putting in the hard work.
