Fabulous. I think you post the best videos of anyone. (Can you shed some light on the new header?? Very intriguing.)
PoC - I love the youtube. It is fascinating how much obscure material is out there — even just in snippets, it is enough to delight me.
It is a photo of a paused scene from Visconti's Conversation Piece, which I think is a fabulous movie if only for the sets. There is a youtube clip of it under "Rainy Sunday Cinema" I posted back in August.

What more is there to say? I (Splendor) remember my parents taking me to this show when I was a child. Looking back, it was one of those events that had a great impact on me and my eventual decision to become a designer. Hail Erte!
Thank you HOBAC! Mrs. E. and I realized that we had more in common than not (oh what a first few moments.... yikes!) when she caught sight of my Erté plates (and learned that, yes, they were mine....) It was the start of a fine romance.
I had the chance to buy an autographed art poster before he died and couldn't for the life of me scrape up the cash... .
Your post reminds me how very lucky I am. Only in the blogosphere, huh?
