The two of them were so wonderful...they had such fun on their show and such a love of food...
Just finished reading Clarrisa's book on Food which is filled with her humorous quotes on a host of food topics...
i had forgotten about these amazing ladies! and because of jennifer and clarissa i always wanted to ride around the countryside in a sidecar!
I too enjoyed their programmes when they aired in UK. Surprisingly enough Clarissa blames her overweight not on food but on the amount of tonic she had with her vat of gin, in the days before she became teetotal. Apparently it has had some irreversible and detrimental effect on her metabolism. I like her no-nonsense approach to life, and Jennifer before her demise was equally forthright.
Real cooks, real food, real people and a splendid use of the motorcycle and sidecar.
